Responsibilities

Join the Salesforce team at Production Resource Group (PRG), where you will lead and mentor the Salesforce team; design platform architecture solutions; manage the development lifecycle; articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for platform and solution architecture.

You are a motivated Director of Salesforce who is passionate about cloud and application architecture in Salesforce applications. You are as comfortable working in a design session with senior business leaders as you are getting deep into application architecture and coding, and you excel at executing the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions and providing technical guidance to teams during the solutions' development and deployment phases. You are a go-getter and love learning new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can collaborate with architects and other cloud engineers to deliver infrastructure solutions and designs.

This role is a strategic leader who on a day-to-day basis will:

  • Create, implement, and manage a large, multi-tenant Salesforce environment
  • Lead a team of Salesforce software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior Salesforce developers and administrators. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to analyze complex business processes and recommend innovative Salesforce solutions to drive efficiency and enhance customer experience.
  • Contribute to all functional and technical aspects of projects, integrations, and solutions developed on the Salesforce platform
  • Lead the strategic architecture design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Work cross-functionally to maintain and improve upon Salesforce integrations & data integrity with different teams and systems to support overall business processes
  • Oversee the coordination and performance of Salesforce development, customization, integration, and deployment efforts.
  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce platform support; lead troubleshooting of any production issues related to applications including but not limited to Salesforce, micro-services, and infrastructure/DevOps
  • Work with Business partners to develop and maintain reporting and dashboard functions
  • Work cross-functionally to review processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation
  • Recommend systems solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives
  • Coordinate the rollout of enhancements to the production environment
  • Participate in architectural and design discussions with strategic business partners to ensure technical success with Salesforce technologies
  • Stay ahead of emerging Salesforce technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on PRG's business strategies.
  • Enforce agile development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions
  • Recommend and document leading practices

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions – cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation and management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies
  • Programming Languages – APEX, Visual Force, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Salesforce Platform Developer I&II, Admin, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Technical Architect (Preferably)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong accountability, teamwork mindset
  • Excellent leadership skills

 

Physical demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Extensive typing required.

  • Ability to travel when required

 

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience as a Certified Salesforce Technical Architect /Sr. Developer in Salesforce in a corporate environment
  • Salesforce development experience, with multiple CRM implementations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading Salesforce implementation projects from design to delivery.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with DevOps practices

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $140,000- 180,000. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data
