Service technicians are responsible for providing different services, depending on their area of expertise, and diagnosing problems and making repairs


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot LED equipment
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of  LED equipment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal  supervision
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities


Essential functions

  • Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
  • Educating coworkers on how to use and maintain their device
  • Perform maintenance on LED equipment
  • Diagnose problems and develop  solutions to repair them
  • Order parts needed for repairs as  needed
  •  Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed

Physical demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis

 Required education and experience

  • 3-4 years of experience working with LED equipment, circuit-board level maintenance and soldering skills required.
