    This job function is responsible for all logistics of daily shipments involving FedEx, common carrier freight including LTL, dedicated, and special arrangement. This includes the quoting, arranging, confirming, and executing of shipments to assist in the movement of PRG arranged equipment movement.  This position requires customer service skills, accuracy, computer knowledge and clear communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for quoting and confirming all common carrier freight whether dedicated, LTL, for shipments of equipment
    • Coordinates purchase order creation with LV Purchasing to properly assign costs of shipments to projects
    • Assists finance in reconciling all freight bills and charges related to equipment movements on an ongoing basis, including small parcel shipments
    • Assists in settling all damaged claims caused by freight movement
    • Assist with the return and tracking of all sub rental equipment
    • Coordinates and communicates with Asset Manager of departing transferred/sub-rented equipment
    • Assist Dispatch as requested
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years shipping
    • 1-3 years freight arrangement
    • Must be able to lift 75lbs
    • Computer literate
    • High School Diploma
    • MS Office Suite
    • Inventory control systems desirable
    • Entertainment industry helpful
    • Fluency in English
    • Clear and concise verbal and written communication
    • Staff training and development
    • Provide calm and polite customer service
    • Work successfully in a fast-paced multi-deadline environment
    • Assume a high level of responsibility and autonomy
    • Interact with co-workers from all levels of the organization in a variety of situations
    • Strong work ethic, high standards for work product, honesty and integrity
    • Excellent attendance track record, punctual and dependable
    • Maintains a calm demeanor in a stressful environment and adapts positively to changes in the work setting
