  • Overview

    The Business Analyst Project Specialist is responsible for project management and business analysis for corporate office and business integration. This role provides day-to-day project oversight, direction, interaction with stakeholders, and all other related project specialist tasks. In this role you will define business requirements, including the discovery, analysis and documentation of business cases, requirements, process flows, performance metrics, and reports.


    • Gather data and provide analytical support and analysis to allow senior management to evaluate performance against key metrics
    • Identify any areas of concerns and opportunities to gain efficiencies and quality with the business unit and define requirements that will lead to improvement
    • Determine, define, document, and present business requirements, current and future state of process or workflow, use cases and test cases
    • Facilitate project management with multi-unit work sessions to determine requirements, screen flows, and processes
    • Perform cost analysis on all financial aspects of the business
    • Acts as the conduit between the field team members and those at corporate office to help define requirements and process flows
    • Interface with business partners and field team members to capture new business requirements and existing issues; Map functional requirements to these findings and document requirements
    • Review and ensure that all corporate guidelines and regulatory rules are kept in compliance within the requirements
    • Interface with IT and Finance team to define and improve support procedures and capabilities through training, communication, and documentation across all related projects
    • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
    • Work with management to improve company costs/waste and to optimize profitability in areas of responsibility.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years experience in a Business Analyst role working with corporate office and multiple units
    • Prior experience with business requirements gathering and documentation skills
    • Software experience (Windows, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Share Point)
    • Ability to travel as required
    • Ability to read and interpret documents including financials and instructions from customers and vendors and or other team members.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with substantial pressure.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
    • Prior project management experience preferred
