An employee in this title has responsibility for identifying and developing new national/international sales opportunities for event and/or entertainment projects in markets such as, but not limited to: corporate events, trade shows and exhibits, permanent installations, theatrical production including lighting, audio, video and scenery, concert events and tours, sporting and political events and live television and film. The work involves developing mutually beneficial long term multidisciplinary collaborations with newly identified clients, focusing on cultivating profitable business. This incumbent develops the opportunity and works in collaboration with another salesperson and/or project management team to develop the initial presentation and RFP response in order to sell the business. The work may include the collaboration and determination of product/gear, construction and service/labor specifications as well as design support of relevant operational plans in order to achieve the client’s vision.
