    An employee in this title has responsibility for loading/unloading of trucks, testing, repairing and maintaining PRG video equipment and tools using set company procedures, standards and guidelines.

     

    The work involves the use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear. S/he must be able to lift equipment from floor height to over-head while loading or unloading trucks or preparing gear for events.

     

    It is the policy of PRG to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.  Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times.  Does related work as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Inspect, test, repair, clean and maintain all equipment upon return from rentals, configuring equipment for client rental, pulling and loading and unloading of equipment and its associated check-in and storage. 
    • Ensure the quality of all equipment prepared in assigned area of responsibility meets or exceeds standards of performance defined by company guidelines.
    • Load/unload trucks, sort, count, examine, repair, trouble-shoot of in-coming equipment and preparing out-going equipment, prepping equipment to orders, pick-and-pack.
    • Ensure the accuracy of all equipment checked in and checked out in assigned area of responsibility.
    • Submit neat and orderly records of all equipment prepared in assigned area of responsibility. Communicate a detailed log of work flow per day with company provided forms/email.
    • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with the Nightshift Supervisor regarding missing items and/or orders checked-in with damaged equipment. Submit neat and orderly records.
    • Work with Operations & other departments to create a cohesive, productive and efficient order-flow throughout all departments
    • Assist to create, implement and manage quality control procedures for department gear.
    • Verify reports and cycle-counts as required by Asset Management;
    • Must be flexible and willing to work in any department, so that the Video division is able to function at the highest level of efficiency
    • Communicate any issues or problems regarding equipment, departmental procedures or personnel immediately to a supervisor
    • On-site support and production facilitation.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment according to the standards set forth by the Company.
    • Understand and comply with all Company Policies and Safety Regulations and to report any hazards and unsafe practices immediately.
    • Provide training to new employees as well as interns as assigned.
    • Perform tasks that involve lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Report to work at assigned time.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    May use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word

    processing, calendar, e-mail and database software and proprietary PRG software in performing work assignments;

    Qualifications

    Knowledge: Computer (Outlook, email, TEAM or any inventory system), basic electrical safety

    Skills: Organized, problem solving, meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

    Excellent Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills required.

    • Ability to follow instructions;
    • Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and autonomy;
    • Ability to interact with co-workers from all levels of the organization in a variety of situations;
    • Good knowledge of the principles and practices of workplace Safety
    • Maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful environment with ability to adapt positively to changes in the work setting with ease
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Spanish language skills are a plus.
