    The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Controller is for the accounting and financial functions of the business unit.  This hands-on position is responsible for financial reporting and analysis for the business unit.  It provides business management support to the local Management Team and is accountable to Corporate Finance.  It also manages the local finance group to meet deadlines and provide accurate financial information and excellent internal and external customer service

    • Perform and/or oversee all day-to-day accounting and finance related work
    • Manage local finance staff and assigned work
    • Prepare and/or oversee monthly financial accounting close
    • Prepare and/or oversee monthly Management reports and analyses
    • Prepare annual budget and monthly reforecasts
    • Prepare project analyses for all companies by week and month
    • Oversee all incoming projects cost and revenue accounting
    • Provide support for external audits and annual inventory
    • Manage and report on facility, equipment, and vehicle leases and contract renewals
    • Manage day to day AP activity with emphasis on cash flow and extraordinary expenditures
    • Provide the controller with daily AP and AR agings and invoice billing/processing status
    • Oversee vendor communication of AP staff on a weekly basis
    • Manage day to day AR activity with local restrictions and externally managed customer relationships through other depots, specifically cash influx and billing requirements
    • Liaison between sales operations and shop operations with Controller’s directions for forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis
    • Manage depot expenditures on a weekly basis for payroll and shop expenses to provide detail to controller
    • Manage monthly Intercompany activity with other PRG locations for AR and AP
    • Participate in Senior Management review meetings and weekly business unit Management Team meetings
    • Provide information and ad-hoc reporting to local Management Team and assist in developing sound business strategies to maximize performance and grow the business
    • Recommend and implement appropriate processes and controls to refine and improve accounting policies and business practices as defined by Corporate Finance and local management
    • Other related work as required


    • Preferred 5 years corporate accounting at the level of Controller or other managerial role for companies with $20M+ annual revenue
    • Minimum of 3 years staff supervision
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar discipline
    • MBA or CPA desirable
