Responsibilities

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting Salesforce.com for assigned business unit by doing data entry, system maintenance, and data integrity/management. The position has responsibility for providing administrative support for Salesforce.com to the assigned team in coordination with the Global Salesforce Administrator and the local Business Unit Supervisor. Does related work as required.

 

  • Primarily responsible for Salesforce.com data entry, maintenance, and data integrity/ management at a business unit level. An employee in this title has responsibility for providing administrative support for Salesforce.com to the assigned team in coordination with the Global Salesforce Administrator and the local Business Unit Supervisor.
  • Communication and ability to train users is a top line requirement, as the incumbent will assist PRG Salesforce users in training, data maintenance, Salesforce.com Help Desk ticketed tasks/ assignments, and day-to-day operations under the direction of the Global Salesforce Administrator and the VP, Sales Operations.
  • This position will have internal customer contact through the Salesforce.com Chatter.
  • The employee will enforce and support Salesforce data integrity by monitoring daily input based on the PRG Naming Convention standards for the specific assigned team. This position will also work as part of the Global Salesforce Administrative group on assigned data integrity projects and other Salesforce.com related projects. The work may also involve various administrative support duties as assigned and associated timelines for those assigned projects.
  • This position may also be given temporary access to make minor system changes at the direction of the Global Salesforce Administrator and/or the VP, Sales Operations.
  • An incumbent is expected to develop mutually beneficial internal relationships amongst and across PRG’s respective depots on a global basis.
  • It is the policy of PRG team to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times.
  • Does related work as required and assigned by local or business unit management.
  • Perform daily data cleanup and implementing controls to ensure data integrity in Salesforce.com.
  • Enforce Salesforce.com data accuracy, including updating, de-duplication, importing and exporting records, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Serve as the internal champion for using Salesforce.com for the local, regional or business unit users.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards for specific assigned locations / business units and to provide business intelligence for Users, Sales, Marketing, Depot/ Business Unit Administration and business unit Executive Management.
  • Gather local, regional and business unit requirements for enhancements and translating business requirements into Salesforce.com technical requirements/ required changes for the Senior Salesforce Admin team.
  • Participate in all local/ regional and business unit Sales or Management meetings as required.
  • Work within cross-functional teams as directed by the Senior Salesforce Administrator.
  • Provide technical expertise on issues involving Salesforce.com to the local assigned users.
  • Coordinate depot/ regional/ business unit training for new Salesforce.com users.
  • On-going continuing education training sessions, and assisting users with building custom reports/dashboards
  • Developing and communicating Salesforce.com best practices across depot/ regional/ business unit level as assigned.
  • Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance across assigned depot/ regional/ business units.
  • Monitor processes and operations on an ongoing basis, with the intent of continuous improvement.
  • The work involves confidential and time sensitive material.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce.com and/or similar CRM system. HelpDesk experience a plus.
  • The ability to learn and use PRG proprietary software.
  • Excellent training presentation skills. Training/ facilitator experience required.
  • Capable of working as a team member of structured and/or matrixed teams.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, able to leverage productivity and communication tools to maintain highly accurate and accessible documentation.
  • Customer and user-focused, with the ability to empathize with all perspectives simultaneously to find the optimal solution for all stakeholders.
  • Ability to utilize data and analysis to help management drive decisions for business improvement.
