The Manager, Procurement for North America oversees purchasing consolidation of commoditized procurement activities across North America including: sourcing, operative procurement, and supplier management. This position also collaborates closely across PRG’s North America business units’ procurement functions. In addition to managing direct spend (raw materials and packaging), the individual in this position is expected to grow the role of procurement in the management of indirect spend categories. The Manager, Procurement North America will ensure that all purchases, direct and indirect, have been made consistent with company's procurement policy. This position will also be responsible for managing and cultivating vendor relationships and updating procurement policies and procedures as needed.

  • Works with purchasing managers and buyers engaged in buying commodities and nonstock materials.
  • Support RFP process with prospective suppliers and manage the company's risk due to market fluctuations
  • Collaborate with PRG North America to develop and implement creative procurement plans to offer opportunities for strategic sourcing through the formal bidding process
  • Ensure that all procurement activities are managed within budget, maintaining the highest level of ethics
  • Ensure that Procurement Department has all necessary tools and technology to help procurement group be best in class. Drive new process and technology improvements.
  • Collaborate with PRG North America to assess and approve suppliers that can effectively meet the company's procurement needs in a timely/cost effective manner without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and internal departments to optimize the company's competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Consistently track supplier performance and industry standard to alleviate risk, communicate key learning's and developments to management.
  • Monitor and report items/categories and business trends within all categories to identify potential areas of opportunity based on the market research. 
  • Consistently monitor and maintain necessary inventory levels to production demands.
  • Monitor supply quality and feedback. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
  • Devise way and means to maximize commodity buying efficiency and to minimize risks.
  • Develop and consistently update Standard Operating Procedures for all procurement related functions.


Preferred locations: Orlando, FL/Chicago, IL/Las Vegas, NV

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in procurement
  • Experience overseeing procurement on a national basis with multiple providers.
