Responsibilities

We are seeking a  Project Manager in our Buffalo Grove, IL location who will provide support to local Account Executives and their clients for all disciplines involved in the respective projects. The Project Manager will ensure a smooth process between sales, operations, and finance and ensure that orders are accurate in the inventory system.

  • Works in conjunction with Account Executive to ensure successful show from order to completion;
  • Assists AE in entering orders into TEAM and ensures that orders are accurate.
  • Works with event staff and operations to ensure orders are complete and accurate before shipping;
  • Works with asset management on available substitutions, and works with event staff to utilize all existing equipment before requesting the AE to sub-rent. Also ensures accurate pricing for sub-rented equipment;
  • Liaison between show staff and shop operations;
  • Works with shipping to ensure freight charges are accurate and entered correctly;
  • Communicates with Shop Foreman and Shipper/Receiver for the most efficient, timeliness, and cost effective manner of obtaining and returning any needed equipment;
  • Works with AE for any purchase orders that go on hold;
  • Go on site to shows to coordinate from load in, to execution, to load out of assigned project and trouble shoots as necessary;
  • Able to work flexible schedules, travel and holidays;

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office 
  • Minimum of 4 years in a/v or event management industry
  • Associates degree or relevant experience
