Responsibilities

PRG Secaucus is looking for an energetic, highly motivated person to provide broad computer setup and administration for entertainment, Broadway, and industrial shows built at the PRG Secaucus Facility. The work involves a variety of computer system administration and technical skills.

 

  • Configure and install Mac OS and Microsoft Windows system images
  • Basic computer system configuration.
  • Repair and maintain UPS systems and associated technical tasks
  • Configure and maintain KVM systems and assure correct inventory needs
  • Maintain and properly inventory computer peripherals such as printers, keyboards, mice, etc.
  • Perform firmware updates to related computer peripherals as needed.
  • Assist technical specialists and clients with computer, network and peripheral support
  • Network configuration and maintenance of network devices
  • Understanding of network protocols both general and audio specific.
  • Willing to stay familiar with industry and manufacturer specific software and procedures
  • Interest in computer audio a plus.
  • Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software and proprietary PRG software in performing work assignments
  • Perform other tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • A desire and interest in computer systems management and administration
  • Proper basic training in computer science or related discipline
  • Ability to create and follow procedures, standards, and best practices
  • Theatrical and/or event technology education preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in both office and warehouse environments
  • Must be able to work well in a group environment and be able to offer support when requested
