    • Maintain and configure large format digital audio consoles
    • Perform firmware updates to related computer peripherals as needed.
    • Basic computer system configuration
    • Digital audio sub-system deployment
    • Troubleshoot large audio systems involving mixed protocols
    • Work with other high level audio technicians in an extremely fast paced, high level audio environment
    • Design and implement small scale audio hardware solutions
    • Assist technical specialists with project and engineer support
    • Create and follow procedures for the maintenance of many varying audio devices, sub-systems, and general systems
    • Use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software and proprietary PRG software in performing work assignments
    • Perform other tasks as needed
    • Stay up to date with industry and manufacturer specific software and procedures


    • A desire and interest in large audio systems deployed in mainly theatrical situations
    • Proper technical training by manufacturers of professional audio equipment (e.g. Yamaha, DiGiCo, Studer, Meyer Sound, etc.)
    • Ability to create and follow procedures, standards, and best practices
    • Theatrical and/or event technology education preferred
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in both office and warehouse environments
    • Must be able to work well in a group environment and be able to offer support when requested, both mental and physical.
    • Must be proficient in soldering of SMD, PCB, and point to point
    • Must be able to read and properly interpret electronic schematics
    • Must be able to properly convey concepts and best practices to others within the company and to clients
    • Must be able to execute prototype concepts in both hardware and software
    • Ability to use design software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, TINA, etc.
    • Extensive knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed signal control and transport protocols
    • Must be courteous and professional in any situation especially with clients under extreme conditions
